An experimental flamenco dance
performance about survivors'
strength & resilience
“…one of the most amazing, moving and effective flamenco productions I have ever seen… The inaugural performance of Sintonía Dance was such I could have seen all three evenings and lobbied for more…To say the audience approved is absurd. The ovation was immediate, standing, vociferous, prolonged.”

Renee Renouf

Dance Critics Association (voting member)

“...the cast that carried out this project ... deserves an international audience because the work is innovative and modern while attacking an unavoidable reality of life that is abuse”

Marcos Gutierrez

KIQI Radio

“Dance company Sintonía leaves indelible first impression with Tattooed.”

Steven Winn

San Francisco Chronicle

Sintonía presents its inaugural production, Tattooed, an experimental flamenco dance performance that gives voice to survivors marked by abuse. Consisting of a series of theatrical vignettes, this show illustrates stories that have scarred, yet shaped their lives. Ultimately, Tattooed is a proclamation of strength, resilience, and seeks to challenge people's perspectives on flamenco and survivors.
